During my 6 months of freelancing, I...
Pitched, planned and executed an extensive launch plan;
Gathered and managed a group of over 170 micro-influencers who promoted the book;
Wrote daily prompts for a 21 day online book club;
Wrote copy for daily social posts;
Managed weekly giveaways;
Designed graphics, and more.
Reached over 1,500 Instagram posts by our followers on the hashtag #WhispersofRest.
Whispers of Rest was one of 3 books featured on Amazon's "Hot New Releases" list in the Devotional Category.
All copies sold out on ChristianBook.com and Lifeway.com, two major Christian book retailers. (Twice!)
Whispers of Rest ranked #16 in the Devotional category on Amazon.
Spring 2017 Finals Week
Azusa Pacific University Bookstore
To continue with the University Bookstore's tradition of creating a fun series of photos over finals week, I came up with the idea of creating fake Bookstore products based on tech startup ideas.
After pitching the concept with some drawn examples, I worked with a fellow intern on fleshing out the daily ideas. From there, we coordinated with models, gathered necessary products and had a photoshoot. I then selected the final photos, manipulated them on Photoshop, and wrote captions to create the final product.
Day 1 - Spotify Discover Distractions
"Happy Finals Week! We were hard at work this year creating some brilliant products that will help you during finals. We're taking all of this week to showcase them for you.

Day 2 - Waze for Study Spots

Day 3 - Textbook Stories
"Did you even pull an all-nighter if your Snapstory doesn't prove it? Did you even write a paper if your friends didn't hear you complaining about it? Did you even spend 8 hours in Marshburn if your followers didn't watch you livestream it? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding, "No."

Day 4 - Uber Scantron Delivery

Day 5 - APU Subscription Box

The Cougar's Den Re-Launch
Azusa Pacific University Dining Services
To inform and excite students about the opening of the newly remodeled Cougar's Den Cafe on APU's campus, I as an intern for Dining Services came up with a campaign for the launch.
This layout consisted of six individual video slideshows that flipped through the different options that students could select at each station within The Den. When the full layout was viewed from our profile, all six cover photos came together to create one larger image.
My process with this project consisted of brainstorming, storyboarding, creating mock ups, pitching to my supervisor, writing copy, planning the posting schedule, and supervising the actual creation of the final product.
The campaign was received well online and in person. There were high volumes of people who came to see the new on campus eatery and the six videos all rank as some of the most viewed videos ever posted from this account.
Public Relations Proposal
Christian Women in Media Association
As the Account Director over four teams of students, I led the creation of a comprehensive public relations/digital marketing strategy for the Christian Women in Media Association.
I facilitated team brainstorms, delegated tasks, upheld deadlines, communicated with the client and finally created a PDF on Adobe InDesign of all of our recommendations.
