Finals Week Campaign
Spring 2017, Azusa Pacific University's Bookstore
To continue with the University Bookstore's tradition of creating a fun series of photos over finals week, I came up with the idea of creating fake Bookstore products based on tech startup ideas.
After pitching the concept with some drawn examples, I worked with a fellow intern on fleshing out the daily ideas. From there, we coordinated with models, gathered necessary products and had a photoshoot. I then selected the final photos, manipulated them on Photoshop, and wrote captions to create the final product.
Day 1 - Spotify Discover Distractions
"Happy Finals Week! We were hard at work this year creating some brilliant products that will help you during finals. We're taking all of this week to showcase them for you.
First up: Spotify Discover Distractions Playlist, curated by the APU Bookstore. We figured that it's early on in the week so you can still spare some wasted hours on finding out Which Disney Princess You Are. (Again.) #theUBTech #jk"
Day 2 - Waze for Study Spots
"We know the value in finding the perfect study spot during finals week. From the creator of Waze comes the newest product in navigational tools: Waze Study Guides!
Make your way from noisy East Campus to the serene West Campus prayer garden in record time. Or lollygag on your way to The Dome to "study with friends." We don't judge either way. #theUBTech #againitsjustajoke"
“Once again, UB killin’ it with the posts! 🙌🏻”

Day 3 - Textbook Stories
"Did you even pull an all-nighter if your Snapstory doesn't prove it? Did you even write a paper if your friends didn't hear you complaining about it? Did you even spend 8 hours in Marshburn if your followers didn't watch you livestream it? The answer to all of these questions is a resounding, "No."
Introducing Textbook Stories: The first and completely original concept of sharing snippets of your day through short videos and photos. Keep your friends way more in the loop about your 20 page exegetical than they ever wanted. #theUBTech #thiswasourideafirst"
Day 4 - Uber Scantron Delivery
"First came Uber Eats... then came Uber Scantrons. We're introducing an on-demand scantron delivery service for all those times you showed up completely unprepared for your test. And you won't even need to make awkward conversation with the driver... Because it's a squirrel."
